So, we’re leaving the Human Rights Council.

Separating children from their parents.

We’re exalting murderous dictators, but turning our backs on our strongest and closest of allies.

We’ve created a religious freedom enforcement office. That’ll be fun for us - not just for us gays, though, so look out Jews.

We’ve got folk who are so closed-minded that they are incapable of hearing the real whats and whys behind the kneeling.

We’ve all but ignored the need of our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico.

Hate crimes against blacks, gays, the transgendered, Latinos, and Muslims are on the rise.

We’ve got a Sec. of Education who went on record saying that there shouldn’t be a separation of church and state - all schools should have a curriculum based on Christianity.

We’ve got “good” white supremacists, who carry Confederate Flags and have swastikas emblazoned on their shirt sleeves.

And we’ve got a huge majority of Americans who think that all of this is o-fucking-kay, because America is getting back to being “great again.”

Regardless of what happens November ‘18 and November ‘20… NONE of us are coming outta this shit in one piece. NONE of us! And those who allowed fear and prejudice and bigotry to guide their vote in 2016, in my opinion, should be held just as responsible as the the administration they helped to install.

I wish I could say that I’m a forgiving, understanding kinda guy. Honestly, I can be, but… If me and mine make it through this without ending up hanging from a tree, murdered while leaving a bar, or locked up in some re-education camp… Know that you may NEVER know my forgiveness, and there’s a good chance that’ll you’ll never gain my understanding. At the very least, you may see civility. Maybe.
